Well i an't really a person who likes to go metal detcting anytime or anywhere but i do admet that it is fun some times. The bad part about it is that it might take hours just to find somthing. But it gets really cool when you do it gets your mind thinking on what of might of been her a couple of years ago. You might be standing right where a battle had been fought or an old house. I haven't been metal detecting but once or twice and all i found really wasn't amazing but how bout your finds anything really amazing close to where you live?

I have found roman coins in europe back in the 70's, don't know how old they. Never took the time to research the coins. In the good old US of A, have gone back to an 1858 half in south Texas so far. Been hoping for some good old Spanish Silver.

An 1876 Indian head penny. Did not know what it was until I got home to clean it. Was my first pre 1900. A goal I set in Jan. 2005. Only took till the first Saturday in March.
