What is this? Help!?

I found this in the middle of my yard. It was buried around 6 inches. It weighs 10 -15 lbs. My metal detector was going crazy when I hit it. The object has a nail or screw though it. Need some help finding out what it is.

I don't know how big it is, but it looks like a very worn and/or damaged printing plate.

The second picture down, that oval ring make me think it was the base to something that was held on with one screw in the middle.

hey there fellow buckeye you said it weighed 10 - 15 lbs i think it might be lead? does a magnet stick to it.?
if not take a piece of paper and see if it leaves a mark..anyway let us know..

I think I found out what it is. It's a concrete stamp. Whenever you lay down the concrete you stamp this onto it, so it has a design on the concrete.

Yeah, that is true.

It looks like a base weight for a lamp, statue, or other object that would otherwise tip over easy.
