yes. modern copper jacketed bullet. You need to include measurements for someone to determine caliber

Bullet fired from a rifle, probably a .30 caliber (most common), introduced around 1895....but like every1 else said, need a diameter measurement.

Seems to have the blunt conical profile (ogive) of an early pre-spitzer style .30 cal.

.30-40 Krag

.303 British

.30-06 Springfield (maybe earlier .30-03 220 gr loading)

But without dimensions and weight in grains it could be any of the scores of 6.5mm to 8mm military loadings of the late 19th century.

I forget what these are from, but I agree with others its at least 100 years old. Circa 1890-1910. I've had them from a firing range of that date.
