My first thought was a watch band clasp of some sort so same thing... Try Skippy's aluminum foil/spit test to see if it smells

It is probably a piece of a bracelet like everyone is saying. The cross is quite intriguing. Maybe a Biker's Bracelet.
If you had the whole thing, it might be worth a few bucks because it is kind of unique and it is silver.
Right now it is only worth melt value. How much does it weigh?

It looks too old for a biker bracelet. Lol. Weight is over 1 oz.

Silver scrap value isn't that high If you can find the rest of it assuming its a bracelet or some kind of ornate necklace it would be worth more 1 oz silver is not very valuable sometimes its better to keep as one of your finds that's special to you!!!Good job!!!!!!
