What should I look for in halves?

I just bought a $100 worth of half rolls. What should a beginner look for? What dates? What mint marks? ect

1964 and before is 90 percent silver. 1965-1970 is 40 percent silver. 1974-d has a double date and is worth money. Do a search, I've posted pics before on here of it.

Thats about all I look for, takes too much time to look through every coin for other errors. These are the "most wanted"....
