HI

A DIME IS EASIER TO LOOSE THAN A QUARTER,DUE TO IT'S SIZE.I GUESS THIS IS WHY WE FIND
SO MANY. ARCOM

I find more dimes,as I am sure others do as well. My reasoning is ,(as someone already stated),they ARE smaller and therefore Easier to lose,,,,,,,,,,But if you look at the economics,,,,,,and apply it to THE MOST FOUND COINAGE...It IS the 1-10 cent range,,as when silver mercs were used a school boy could buy a carton of milk for 2 cents and a meal for 10-20 cents...When the silver rosies were being lost a school meal was 25-70 cents....Alot of school kids had pennies nickles and dimes...You watched your dimes and (If you were lucky enough) Quarters carefully....
Now a days kids carry paper and have penny fights ,and not too many get picked back up...I know if I drop a dime or nickle I'll pick it up....If I drop a penny I won't.... But maybe I should have saved THAT WIND for another thread.....!
