I am building a 4 inch Sub Tube to clear overburden.I am looking for advice on a pump to run a tube I am building.I am using 4 inch pvc to build the nozzle then running it to 4 inch flexible drain hose.I have a pump that runs my 2 inch dredge and am hoping to run this pump. The other option I have is a 150 gpm trash pump. There will be no box on this tube strickley for overburden removal.Where I dredge there is 2-3ft of overburden before the gold bearing dirt looking for a faster way to get there.
Thanx
Jeff

the pump for the two inch dredge is going tobe to small! the flexable sewr pipe is going to crerate to much resistance and itll loadup and plug on you! that motor/pump combo might work for a three inch hose. im makeing something similar but itll be a 5 inch "Hog" to clear overburden, and itll be powered by my dredge engine pump .6.5 HP and a P180 pump at 300 GPM.
