Just bought a persons garage sale out and this was in the items.
Can not find a image or anything on the net.
If this is in the wrong part of the forum go ahead put it where it belongs.

No names or markings anywhere.

wheel measures 14" by 2.5".

The plug on the left side is for the pump.
The switch for the left side is for the pump.
The switch for the motor is in the center.
QAlso, why would the switch for the motor, or drum, turn in both directions when the wheel only works in one.

There is also a on-off switch on the side of the housing with a reostat control.
Still playing with the unit.

I am pretty sure the green spiral is a plastic one sold by DesertCamel in a kit with instructions because I have one like that. The spray bar set up is about the same and you've got a windshield wiper motor running the wheel. There is a copper tube through the center that the gold eventually moves up to and drops through, right (can't tell from the photo for sure)?

This looks like a homemade deal, other than the wheel itself of course. Wiper motor and toilet water supply valve and pvc pipe for a frame[emoji1]. Looks like something I'd build!!

It is a Desert Camel, but it's been moded as any of you that own one know. I like the windshield washer motor idea better than the one that came on mine.

Thanks for all responding, that was fast.

Got it all running and everything is perfect.
The center shaft is an aluminum one.The hollow one.
I added 2 spacers to the shaft so more of the teeth on the gears mesh.
The way it was they where only meshing about a 1/16th.

It is homemade--the liner and instructions came with the kit.

Probably because when I got my kit copper pennies were still copper; shortly thereafter copper went up and pennies went zinc. But before it happened, the plans recommended a hollow copper pipe. So I am not surprised that you have aluminum instead.

Now,why does it have a separate switch for the motor, that does only one thing and runs it backwards, or forward.
Forward direction being the one that moves the gold up into the tube.
Backwards being that is does nothing.

Yup, that's a camel, early one too. They are the only screw with 7 leads. The center pipe is now made of stainless so you can use it to amalgamate with mercury. The reversing switch probably also aids in amalgamating so you can spin backward and just churn the material.
Good machine

Back when I had a wheel , I modified it and made a center pass through to allow the fines to go on to a sluice on the outlet side of the wheel. this cleaned up whatever I ran through the wheel.

Thanks bonaro for that answer. That makes sense to me.
Well it looks like I have a really good machine then.
Glad I cleaned out his garage for him.
I have a lot more items to go through.
He still has to find the topos and markings that his dad marked off and wrote down from all the old timers around the stanton,Yarnell area. They belonged to the weaver claims.

His dad, I believe in his 80s,passed on and he just can not go out anymore, hurts to much.
Real loss and brought my wife to tears when talking to him.
She said he was a handsome man.
First gold I get with the drywasher setup,he gets the vial.

This forum is great with all you pros on here.Just got to say it.
Thanks, you all are the best.

@ russau,I also got just the wheel from a gold magic, so I a, going to make a frame for it, and a pass through.
Then add a motor, and use a battery and solar panel.
