I have never seen a rock like this. Does anyone have a clue what it is?

This piece looks to be common granite with a bit of agate in it.

After doing a little research it could be Sardonyx, A variety of Agate with reddish-brown and either black or white bands. If anyone knows or has a different opinion I would like to hear it. Just a newb trying to learn as much as possible. Thanks for the replys.
