What to do with silver coins? melt into bar? Sell as is? stockpile?

A silver bar is nice looking, but maybe only to the beholder that knows what it is. I have a very large one that looks homemade and that I know is the real deal.

i would take them to a coin dealer to see if any are rare.

Anybody in this hobby better learn how to look that info up for themselves! Trusting people who business is to buy cheap and sell high will only get you burned.
