Whats better for beach hunting, a bent sand scoop or a "not bent" one??

Here i show u pics for three options:

Normal

Bent to the inside

http://cgi.ebay.com/beach-coin-sand...799?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20b4b7b8ff

Bent to the outside

http://cgi.ebay.com/RTG-PRO-ALUMINU...307?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c0524063

So, according to ur experience, whats the best option for beach hunting? whats the most confortable while digging standing up? I know mostly it may have to be with everyones personal likes, but tell me why is it ur prefered one?

Thanks!

The first two are fine for dry sand. Digging in the wet with either of the first two and prying the contents loose will turn the scoops into trash. If you were looking for for a one time use (week vacation), then I would go with the first. Leave the scoop at your destination or sell it to a local for 20 bucks.

And if you buy the last one and dont take it a part and wash it down after every hunt then you will soon have a 1 piece scoop....... ask me how I know ;D

1 and 2 are totally worthless for wet sand or in the water. If you try to use them on wet sand you will break them.....#3 is okay for wetsand and water but clean it like Errik says...

Better choices for wet sand and water...

Beach Brute II with a stainless steel lip added...Sold by kellyco......Made by RTG, the same as your #3
