What's the Difference Between These Two Detectors?

My first post.....

Found these on Amazon:

Bounty Hunter SS2 Sharpshooter II List Price: $349.95
Price: $149.98

Bounty Hunter QD2 Quick Draw II List Price: $249.95
Price: $154.25

What exactly is the practical difference between these two units?

This will be my first MD. I've done some research and it appears this brand/models are decent for the price. I'll be primarily hunting for relics, coins, and stuff you would expect to find at old home sites, ranches and garbage dumps from 1800s a few miles from my house. I live across the street from the beach, but that won't be my primary focus.

What is your opinion of these two for my needs? Is there anything else in the $150 range that might be better?

[edit -- I just noticed that there is a Bounty Hunter forum. Maybe this should be moved to there?]
