What's with the SS?

First of 2 days off.
Within 3 minutes of entering the water I scoop up the ring on the right. Man it looked good in the scoop and while I was out in the water. I could see it was marked with something but just couldn't make it out. It was a nice "plat" color but lacked the weight for that size of ring. I was really stoked up to find out what treasure I had just recovered. Finally went up onto the dry sand to examine a little closer and saw that damn "Stainless Steel". SOB! (and that's not the noise I made that is an abbreviation of what I said)

Shortly after I re-entered the water I got a pretty sweet signal that had potential. I've been looking for an 18K chain in this area for the past couple of months. Either the fellow who told me about it was busting my chops, someone else found it or I just haven't put my coil over the top of it. I was thinking there's no way that this signal is a chain... I was right. It turned out to be a 7 gram 14K white gold ring. YES!

The shades are "serengeti" $85 - $100 depending on the vendor.

Over all a good morning. I may go back out this afternoon after I wash the car, do some laundry and some yard work. Thanks for looking and good luck out there.

Very nice and Congratulations!!

Send it in for retuning or adjust that pulse delay about half way ..... that should fix that nasty gold problem you have.

Those stainless, titanium and tungsten sure bring you down when you read the stamp...congrats on the heavy 14k.
