What's Wrong With This RCMP Peace Officer's Hunting Method?

Nice to see the RCMP, Canada's finest using the Garrett CSI for a crime scene. But.......he could use a little in-servicing don't you think?

Re: What's Wrong With This RCMP Peace Officer's Hunting Method?

Oh boy... I see two things wrong.

Re: What's Wrong With This RCMP Peace Officer's Hunting Method?

Turn the coil around and wrap that coil wire....

Re: What's Wrong With This RCMP Peace Officer's Hunting Method?

1. flopping coil wire can cause "falsing"
2. he's not hunting with the coil that high off the ground is he? that's several inches lost in depth.
3. is that coil perfectly parallel to the ground? looks a bit tilted to me!

coil can be on backwards just fine...some people put bigger coils on backward also...seems to help the balance (according to them).
