Cru'Dad & I were trying a huge Wheat Stubble Field which we have heard might have a Roman site on it. The problem was the hottest day of the year & 5-6 inches of tough stubble. We gave up after not finding much in 45 minutes. We will return in better conditions.
We then moved to our No.1 Field which had some easier to handle Oat Stubble. After 1 hour 45 minutes we found:

1 Lead Token
3 Roman Coins
Buttons
& Bits...

Same here. Most fields still in stubble, and we had 104 today. I always think finds are sparse when it's hot. But bringing some romans home is not that bad.

Normally this time of year we would be hitting 30 or more Roman Coins a day, but the conditions & weather is against us, so we take what we can until things improve.
