I live in the same town he does and I averaged about 1 in every 30 boxes

Great nickel box. I've never found more than one war nickel in a single box. Four in a box is awesome, plus a buffalo as a bonus.

Yeah. That sounds about right. They seem to be super rare, not like buffalo nickels that pop up an average of once per box.
