Where can I find cheap rechargeable battery for Safari

Anyone have any info on where to find cheap rechargeable battery sticks for Minelab Safari. That would be much appreciated.

Is there a holder for regular alkaline batteries that is available for the Safari? I've got one for my Explorer and use the energizer 2450mAh rechargeables. They work great and were quite a bit cheaper than buying a backup minelab rechargeable battery.

Cheap rechargable batteries are just that, CHEAP! For around fifty bucks you can get a set of eneloops with a charger and they are keen. Monty
