That would be Carl's Geotech Forum which includes his Metal detecting equipment forum and Prospectin in Oz. This is where the most knowledgeable veterans hang out. Where you can receive truly expert advice with good archives. However, not a very active forum.

Findmall Good people and particularly usefull if you have a question about a particular brand. New F75 forum as well as other brand specific sites.

Nugget hunting mainly with sidebar treasure hunting. Mainly Az but the who's who of nugget hunting hang out here. Mainly PIs but incredible good advise about PI useage and nugget hunting.

There are more but this is enough.

www.amazon.com
Would be a regular stop. Enjoy seeing what
new books are out on different subjects. Do buy
at times but often get titles I find from the local
library.

Sherm - I'll be checking those sites out... but um, did you know the average first time Harley Davidson buyer is in their early 40s?

It's never to late... but I do understand that the only was to never be in a motorcycle accident is to never get on a motorcycle. The math works out...

I have the mindnumbing task (didn't start out that way) of being a volunteer moderator on a paranormal discussion forum. At the moment, the main discussion point (a psychic medium - yes, as in talks to dead people) is on holiday and hasn't been on TV lately. Won't be anything new until Fall so I am stuck sitting through endless braindead posts from absolute morons who think they are friends with this person because they got an autograph once.

It used to be a great place for interesting discussions about things paranormal, philosophy, religion, etc.

It's turned into...here's a picture of my hampster. Isn't he sooooo cute. ::)

Honestly, there were raging debates at one time from believers and skeptics alike. It was GREAT! But for now I'm stuck with the obsessed fans, the blind believers, and the desperate who can not find solace or comfort from the living world so they turn to the internet.

Roll on Fall TV season.... QUICKLY please!

You know what, I'm embarrassed for the site. It's degraded so badly that I just don't want to share the link.

It's a poor reflection of the people it represents.

So hopefully come Sept. there will be new and interesting things to talk about. As a matter of fact...some fun Egyptian treasure type things to talk about. ;D

Thats cool... sorry it's not what it used to be... sometimes the folks who make it great move on to other things and the site just kinda dies. I hope that never happens here! :)
