Where to hunt in Shreveport Bossier LA

Never hunted before tonight in my backyard. Excited about hunting but don't know where would be good. Any help would be great. Bought the basic Bounty Hunter Challenger detector.

Hey CommoGuy, try some of the schools around town to learn the detector. Lots of different tones to be had there, I went this morning and found 8 quarters, 4 dimes, 1 nickle, 11 pennies and a cheap ring along with a few tabs. I found all that in an hour at Curtis Elem. in South Bossier. Good Luck!!
