It was a gold and silver day, I went to a spot where I found a couple of silvers before, I had a feeling if I dug the low tones I get a gold, It didn't take very long till this popped out, no markings, but I can tell by the look and feel it is the real deal, any non belivers just say so. I also got a silver, which is marked.

And only a few pennies to go with, I know some get many gold per season, but for me this could represent the only so I'm quite happy with it.

Took no camera with me . so this is an after shot.

My wife and I have matching wedding rings almost identical to that ring you found. Had them custom made by a goldsmith in Spain, twisted gold and silver - very nice and there are no hallmarks. Congrats on your find!

Wow! What a day!
I'm the same as you. A gold find once a year would be good for me, and I would be jumping up and down.
Congrats!

How bout the other three ring deal? I dug one of those this weekend. Was thinking it was part of some costume jewelry but it's the same as your pic.

I buy this stuff on a daily basis and just by the general color and appearance it looks to be either 10k or 14k. Best thing to do is take it to a gold buyer and have them do a test on it. Keep in mind the white metal mixed in could possibly be platinum as well. Sweet find!
