Re: White's Coinmaster 3

The Coinmaster Series of detectors have found 100s of thousands of coins all over the world. They were a very popular series of White's Detectors. I see someone else on this thread gave you the website for the manual. Check it out; read the book thoroughly and have fun. It may not be a "new" machine. But 6 inches then is the same depth today and zero to six inches is the range that the majority of coins will be found.

One last thing---test the coil for the exact place a coin "centers" on it so you can pinpoint targets. You should do this test on all solid coils because the electronic "center" can easily vary and you need to know where to "fix" your eyes when pinpointing targets.

Welcome to the hobby and welcome to the forum. ;D
OOPS, almost forgot. Use fresh batteries!!!
