Wateproof up to the control head. Never heard of a waterproof kit but I am sure someone has modified one that might could help you out. I know of some people that have used waterproof boxes and convert detectors but I have never tried it.

Thanks guys. I won a new, in the box Whites Prizm 5G but I think I'm selling it. It's been a hard winter and I really need the cash.

I had a Prizm 5 and it was a good machine other than not having a numerical target display. With the addition of the ground balance, it should be a nice one. I loved the 6T and would have bought another used one if it wasn't for already owning the DFX and having interchanging coils with the MXT. I do believe that the DFX and the MXT are both deeper machines than the Prizm too.
