I have no idea why people take time to do that!! What do they gain by taking off pulltabs. To me its too much work and when you recycle by weight im sure you lose money by taking it off. PLEASE STOP IT!!!!

Just remember that if there were no pull tabs EVERYONE would be digging more gold -- right up until places were completely cleaned out. -- Trash, while annoying, can be your ally.

I would take an Albertsons shopping cart full in at a time... the woods near where i grew up was LOADED with em.

Heck yeah, three cents a bottle! My fellow street urchins and I would wander our inner city neighbourhood with an old Radio Flyer wagon looking for cast-offs, then it was off to the corner store to stuff our faces with candy.
