I released them both. They don't taste good. Lol. There are definitely some huge bass in Floridian and the southern states. Different strain of largemouth.

Yeah the big fish I believe have a special gene that reproduce the large fish in their eggs. I always let the big ones back to spawn. Keep all the big ones and I believe the gene will disappear. Just a theory

C'mon now Rock you know I wouldn't give it up. I'll post some pix in a few. I've been busy and where I moved I have virtually no internet. It's all through my phone. Haven't found much and lost my most productive field. The farmer has dementia and his wife isn't as welcoming as he is. I have caught some nice bass this week. Hey Hey Steve hope all is well with ya. I'm always checking in.

hey and a big thank you.....all is well my friend.....all is good

This post is for you Steve (Larson 1951).

Here is the Out House that I saved from demolition, that I put in the back yard. I have been doing a little restoration on it, but I need to redo the roof with cedar shakes.

Im new so not likely anyone cares, but this is me ;-) (and my junior explorer, who's holding her explorer frog "Arrow.")

Gotta say, I've driven my wife crazy for a few years constantly talking about rocks, especially the small monadnock I get to stare at each winter out my living room window (original source of my geology interest). Compliments of the Driftless Area of Wisconsin's ice age.

Nice to find this site and get some questions answered I've had for a few years (questions to come shortly :-) Now... to post my "finds" of the day and see if they're "finds" at all, or just more rocks :-(

P.S. Very glad to finally find my kind of people!
