Re: Whole lotta' clay (mostly)

Thanks Nick. Indeed I look forward to hear what those "in the know" say about 'em. I noticed the expertise of some of the folks here (Duffy is awesome). I have a marble book but I can't distinguish the subtle differences in these things. :icon_scratch:
If anyone wants close-ups of particular marbles let me know. :)

The Died clays will usually bring a dollar each. Undied about 5 for a dollar. Your German Hand mad es will average about Twenty each.if the big one did not have all the damage it might bring 100.00 Best way to sell them is to take good pictures and put them on EBAY

Here's my addition and I have NO idea what they're worth, if anything at all.

Re: Whole lotta' clay (mostly)

There are several in there that are VERY  Nice. There are two Hand Made Lutz marbles one is very large about a inch and something by the looks of it ( it's one the left next to the beat up one). That one is worth several hundred dollars. :icon_sunny: The smaller one with gold Fleck bands is worth about a hun or so You need to wrap that large one up and not let it take any damage. I like your collection! I would love to have a lage lutz like that but I have so many others. Momma would make me get rid of something ::)

Re: Whole lotta' clay (mostly)

Your welcome
After magnifying the images I would say you have at least 5 Lutz marbles in that collection. There are plenty other marbles there that a marble collector would pay money for. Any with the gold flecks in their bands are very collectible.. however the clay marbles aren't worth much since there is no way to date them.

Thanks again, I apologize that my original photos were not great. I will post better photos of glass ones soon.
