Went to a local park yesterday , got super lucky ! found $2.34 in clad AND a SILVER ring w/green stones and a chunk of a GOLD ring. (lawnmower-1,ring-0) 8.2 grams 18ct !


So i went back today to see if i could find the rest of the gold ring. No luck. But then i scored this !

1898 Barber dime, my first Barber! And the oldest coin i've found so far.
Also pulled $3.67 in clad. The Barber was only two inches deep , so was most of the clad. Super hard packed adobe.

Still have 1/2 a gold ring to find !
