3 years of digging and I always make my last find a quarter,- just a good habit. spent 3 hours at a school soccer field for a grim $2.79 in clad. feelin' bummed I walk to a small area that looks to be virgin ground of the 1950's school, thinking most diggers will hit the high traffic areas. as I start swinging, the 1st hit is 80-81, nah, I ain't ending with a clad dime or copper memorial---- next hit is 86-87, yeah baby-- my last quarter for the day at 6 inches down. well, you guessed it --- an EF-AU '64 with lots of hair and feathers. I head back to the Blazer laughin' & scratchin' at 8:05PM. DONE,-------- 'til tomorrow IMG_1763.JPG IMG_1764.JPG :laughing7::laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Very Sweet !- You might ought to go back and see what the 80/81 is , On the MXT 81 is often a silver dime or a little silver ring .

Wow. That is the best '64 quarter I have seen. That must have lost early in the year!

Love that silver quarter  they used to be very elusive, but I have been pulling my share this season. I have hunted some virgin coin infested sites in the past. If it didn't ring in as a quarter or better during 4 outings, I did not dig it. Pulled over $150 from that site. Was nothing to pull $5 per hour. Many times there were more than 1 quarter in the hole.

Beautiful Washington quarter, Rich. The AT Pro is doing a great job. Glad it's taking you along for the ride.
