One thing I noticed with my computer is that if I have TNet up and just put the computer to sleep at night, in the morning when I turn the computer back on, I have to hit the refresh button, (The double green arrows next to the big red X at the top right of the screen). Otherwise the screen does not update from the night before. That could be the problem.

No Problem
with you,
Just trying to understand.

If the person says it happend today
Perhaps they posted it on the 9th.
When Today was the 9th. :D

IF It says Today at the top
But the post says the 9th.
Check all posts in it.
Perhaps Somone responded today

If the post says Today
& You don't see any posts
newer then the 9th.

UH OH :o

You are stuck in the past
& maybe won't see posts from today for a few weeks :o

My suggestion first Clean your cache
& Restart your computer.

The fact your seeing our posts tells me you are seeing todays posts though.

I've seen that happen too. What happens is that you'll notice a post from August that runs for a few days and then goes into history.

And then a month later, for some unknown reason, a person posts another reply which moves it back to the top of the list again.

That's why it looks like it isn't being updated, but it is. Someone is just restarting the thread. :icon_thumleft:

Smudge you are right about that. At least on this forum it tells you in the beginning when the orginal post was made when you have them listed in decending order. Another forum that I stopped using doesn't have this feature and if you are not careful you could post an answer to someone that has been dead for years and the post is still there. Then everyone gets upset because you posted to an old post.

Everytime someone replies to a topic it puts it at the top of the list in the forum.

I think that is your issue.

Go into your profile, and click on "Look and Layout Preferences" try selecting "Show most recent posts at the top."

I hope that helps!
