My wife and I waited all day for the heat to die down and finally got some clouds and headed out to a local park. We started in an area that has been used for years for special event parking with lots of foot traffic. It has been hit pretty heavy but there are new events all the time so new stuff, and thats what we thought we would find. After about 15 minutes of not finding much she got a strong signal that should have been a quarter but this showed up about 5" down ! Big surprise and made our day. Thanks for looking. I think its Navajo in origin. There is a lot of that culture around here and lots of tourism

Yeah , there is a definite Southwest thing happening here with the turquoise , the pink Coral , and the "sawtooth" bezels
around the stone sets - could be Native , could well be Anglo (Gringo ) It has a 1970's feel to it - Frankly the workmanship
is underwhelming (to be charitable ) However you just found almost an ounce of sterling , and I say Cheers !

I researched it and it is Navajo style but I'm sure it is big bold tourist eye catching bling from 70s but ya lots of silver. Thanks for all the responses. Love this forum
