Wild flowers

Saw these on the way home from town this morning. I didn't know what they were, but a little research told me that they are " Shooting Star " flowers...On a steep bank along the road.

I don't know if deer like them, but they're growing on a very steep bank where deer would have a hard time getting at them....Maybe that's why there are so many.
