Here are some finds from the WINDY weekend on the north shore of L.I.
? ? 1950 D quarter---wheats 1920,1942,1948----1941 nickel----1945 dime---a very small 925 heart ring(very dark in color for silver)----Lg. spoonthat reads Rogers Nickel Silver, Sm. spoon that reads Federal Nickel Silver, fork with no name, small handgun/knife, 38 special casing and one unreadable, a half pair of dice, a buckle, lock, some fishing lures, a slide latch, a set of eight keys, a small earing or pin and about 10.00 in clad. Surprisingly there werent alot of pull tabs to be found. Thanks for looking and have a great day.? ? ? ?Sorry about the fuzzy pics

good day for you in Long Island.

Nice bunch of artifacts and coins.

I said the same thing; "a half pair of dice.?" had to check it out in the dictionary. It is a "die". I never knew that.
If I was ever missing one I would be looking for one of the dice, not a die. I learn something every day, I hope.

The handgun knife was a bit corroded but i got it open.

Its 4in long opened, has a hole on the bottom I guess for a key chain being its size, the firing arm is the locking mechanism for the blade. Couldnt find any writing any where and its usually on the blade but its pretty rusty.The blade folds underneath into the handle. Ive found other knives before but not this small and cool.
