WOW!!! Huge Gold Nugget while relic hunting!!

We have been pounding a gold country relic site for a couple months and great stuff continues to pop up!! What a surprise when this whopper popped out of the ground.

For the non gold nugget hunters-- one this big is RARE!!

Also a couple seated dimes popped up.

The video is worth a watch!! Excuse the rough language but we all got pretty excited and we had a few (many) slips of the tongue!!

About $1,500/oz last time I checked. It's actually down, earlier this year it was at about $1,700/oz.

It is. A collector would probably pay between 1.5x and 2x spot for it as a specimen.

That nugget is really, really SOMETHING!

PS: Gold is a bit off it's high of last year..just over $1200/ ounce and even with the 50 - 100% premium for a specimen nugget I very much doubt that Ron would part with it!

Amazing nugget, looks like someone threw you a bone. Literally it looks like a bone in the banner pick, I'd name it the "Dog bone Nugget"... Awesome find, as for the value. Its about x2 melt value as a specimen !
