"Once in a lifetime" find included 23 carat gold coins and a gold ring with a blue sapphire thought to have been from the 15th century.. A pensioner from Wrexham has uncovered thousands of pounds worth of medieval treasure in his friend’s field.
The impressive hoard of three 23 carat gold and twenty five silver coins was made by 86-year-old Cliff Massey from Caia Park during two separate visits to Iford Edwards' farm near Bronington.... None the less, that is STILL a great find!
The treasure adds so much to the knowledge of the medieval culture,
yet it has GREAT value to everyone's pocket, too...! :laughing7:

So in the UK when you find stuff like this they pay you for it.
each dood got 800.00 GBP = 1,268.80 USD

So is that equivalent to the value of the Treasure ?
if not
whats the incentive to turn it over ?
