Had a short hunt today and found a few decent things, but I could use some help with an ID if anyone knows what it is.

well, its not a coin or token, just some modern emblem attached to? (seems to depict Hermes/Mercury)

I don't know about modern. It was a good 6" down and crusted up really bad. It was about the thickness of a penny with all the crust on it. Now it's about half as thick.

It took about 7 trips into the warm peroxide to be able to make out the face.

Interesting....but might be best if you post pictures of the front and back of the find, then you should get some resuts
