This was my first hit of the afternoon at a small park near some 1920-era houses. It's an Army Air Force Technician Qualification Badge from WW2. They were evidently discontinued when the Air Force became it's own branch in 1947.

As a former Air Force aircraft tech, I thought this was a cool find. Back side just says "STERLING" and has a pin.
