What a great medal! Based on the link that bcs123 posted, it says that Every person serving through WWII received one. That being said, I'm surprised I've never seen one posted before, or anywhere else for that matter. They must be well coveted by owners/family members.

Thanks for the ID! That's pretty neat. I'm also surprised I haven't seen more of these found and posted here if everyone who served during WWII got one. My friend actually found this while we were out hunting...not me. It's going in his display case for sure.
