Hey,

I found a really cool relic last year behind an old garage at a house site that is most definitely too graphic for this forum.

IMO, it is good enough for the banner but it would never be allowed up there!

I would love to post it but I'm sure it would be deleted instantly.

I'm serious. My find is something that I doubt anyone in the world has ever found.

Has someone else found anything that is too obscene for this forum?

Any advice from the moderators?

Cheers,
Dave.

If only it were that simple Kuger!

O.K. I'll give a quick description.
It's a large printing plate (image is backwards) from the 1920's to 1940's (I think) and it's a streetcar/bus with a whole bunch of people dressed like the old days and are doing something quite provocative (to say the least.) Lol.
It's entitled "A Streetcar Named Desire."
What should I do?

I figured. Am I allowed to show through P.M.'s?
I've been busting at the seams (Not at those seams) to show it off ever since I found it.
I showed it to an 84 year old man and he said that the slot missing in the middle was for folding the paper in a certain way so you could open it to see what these people were really doing in that streetcar.
:tongue3:

Yes as long as those who you show it to want to see it.

You don't want to be reported for sending porn I'm sure :tongue3:

I think I have seen the print from that. The print paper is folded in horizontal pleats where the bottom section is doubled and coveres half the top section. With the paper folded the image is OK but once the paper is totally flatened the action starts. There were two versions of this. The other version was a subway car with sailors, same action. It had written on it, "When the lights go out on the NY subway." It's from the 40's or 50's. Frank...
Rare litho find!

111-2 700.jpg Get a Blick art supply cat, or check on line. Get the ink and a roller and you can make prints.

Muddyhandz,

Just take it to your local bar, it may make you feel better if it's displayed there.

Howdy Kuger,

I have heard of only three such love stones, but at least two were described as perfectly shaped and smooth. Too similar to the real thing to be natural. All three were found close to the Rio Grande here in South Texas.

I believe it gives credence to the legend of Kokopelli. The story is that Kokopelli would detach his phallus, and leave it where the women bathed.

I always wondered what their worth could be. The roustabout pipeline crew that found one of them, carried it in the toolbox as their goosing tool. :dontknow:

THAT'S IT! When you print it, The top of the bottom piece folds up to the bottom of the top piece shown. It's a good clean picture until you pull the bottom piece down. LOL

111-2 700.jpg It's been over 13 years since I have seen that. I use to have the world's largest collection of 'Jokes' untill my house burned down.

I don't see why phalic items can't be posted here, a find is a find :icon_scratch: with a appropiate title to warn. Romans have been using the theme on coins and symbols for thousands of years. And as for family friendly....you don't mind letting people post bloody hunting pictures of dead animals, which offend others ???

Looks like a nice find Muddy, pitty we can't see it properly.

Respect is a two way street. If you want to keep complaining about dead animals i have a pic.i pulled to pacify you that is legal here in this country on the internet.
I would rather just not hear your anti hunting sentiment you are entitled to.

Tell you what, make a print with it, then scan it folded and un folded, then post it on photobucket with a link here, warning people not to look if they might be offended.
