I have heard this as well. I believe many people that would have bought the XLT often stepped up to the DFX and now with the V3 out, sales have probably dropped even more so it wouldn't surprise me if they dropped the XLT.

I would like to add, that some of those folks who bought the DFX, wished they hadn't sold there XLT's. I agree the new V3 seems to be better than the DFX. At least the new bells and whistles make it look better anyway.

The XLT has been discontinued....it is the machine I hunt with.... had it go 10" for large cents... 9 1/2 for a gold ring.... awesome machine! I plan to buy a bunch of what is left, as I ama dealer, and hoping to sell them for cheaper than normal
