Similar in looks to the Goldmaxx but runs at a lower frequency. Means more depth on pasture but less sensitivity. Still very sensitive compared to many detectors.
A test on the Tech forum (in 2003 before the performance was improved) on a 3.2 cm bronze coin had the Troy Shadow X5 at 23cm, MXT at 22, Explorer at 27 and the Adventis at 28.
If you buy an original Adventis it could be very old. The Adventis 2 won't be more than two years old and is the one to go for unless the Mk I is cheap.
