Yeah, That's More Like It-Results From 2 Boxes Of Halves 8/22/06

Picked up two boxes of halves today and here are the totals:

Box 1: 27-40% silver halves 2-90% Kennedy halves and 1-1953D Franklin

I was pumped after searching this box of halves. Then I moved onto the second box.

Box 2: SKUNKED LOL That's ok, the first box more than made up for the second box. 8)

The teller actually ordered three boxes,even though I asked for two. So there is another one sitting there and I'm going on vacation Thursday,so I think I have to run back to the bank tomorrow. Curiosity is killing this cat. lol
Then he asked me if I wanted him to continue to order halves, and I said oh yes please! Doin' the happy dance!

Weirrd when that happens. But nice job with the first box. I sold 100 40%ers yesterday at 1.68 each. Nice chunk of change...

Very nice finds. That '64 on the left looks to be in pretty good shape too, most silver I find looks more like the one on the right

UPDATE:

I went back to the bank today to pick up the last box of halves sitting in the vault. The results are:

2-1964 Kennedy 90% silver halves

3-40% silver halves

Not like the first box, but I was still pleased with the results and didn't get skunked!
