HaHa Yea apparently they settled schoolyard fights
this way also.
No matter where you go around here you find them Everywhere.

In this case I Think the Shotgun Brass is from Pigeon Shoots.

Live Pigeons Were Put in Traps.
(A box with a trap Door & A long String)

a Shooter stood on the edge of the Field & Somone Pulled the string Releasing the Bird.
& The shooter Would Try to shoot the Pigeon.

Great Gambling Matches went on here in PA

the Most Famous was the Coleman Labor day
Pigeon shoot in Hegins

which all the smaller Matches Pretty much lead to.

They have recently been Banned here in PA Due to Animal
rights Protesters.
