yesterday's find

Went to my fave park. Was hunting area where I fish, lots of iron in the ground, so I used TTF (two-tone ferrous), on my Etrac detector. Got a very teeny tiny signal in amongst the iron sounds, had to slow down my sweep to snail's pace. It was about 5 inches deep. This is what I saw in the side of the hole..........NGE P.S. I had washed her off then remembered I had my camera in the truck, so I tossed her back in da hole and took her pictures.

Re: yesterday's find

Looks to me like a 29s, right? Nice find!

Either you have the best soils for detecting around, or that coin was cleaned recently too. Doesn't look to have any soils adherring to it anywhere. Wish my soils and finds came out looking that nice.

Re: yesterday's find

Read my original post. I did mention that I cleaned her before relizing my camera was in the truck. I only used water and a tooth brush.
