Yesterday's finds- Including my 1st Mercury Dime
This is my first actual new post on this forum, so I will provide some background on my CRH experiences. In 1998 I read an article on CRHing in a major coin magazine. I had collected coins as a child and thought it would be fun to try. I started request half dollars from local banks and used my part-time job as a parts delivery driver to facilitate my hobby in a broader area. I made some very good finds in those days, including 2 solid rolls of Walkers (I don't plan to see that again), and good quantities Franklins, 90% Kennedys and a large amount of 40% Kennedys. After I started my career, the part-time job stopped and so did my CRHing. Recently I returned from a deployment to Afghanistan, and had some time off. I started back into the hobby and found this great forum. I have now put my focus on hunting halfs and dimes, but am also searching a number of nickel and penny boxes to complete a set of each. Here are pics of yesterdays finds; my 1st Merc and 6 silver Rosies. 5 of the Rosies were in 1 customer roll. The dates are as follows 1944, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1948 s,1952 s ,1953 d.
