Having asked a neighbor sometime back, if i could detect his yard, and was told sure no problem.
I finally went over yesterday and started hunting while the neighbor and his girlfriend watched from there patio. First few were just new coins, then i dug up a large gold colored disc that on one side had fancy letters mingled together and the other side said ( 12 years old Ballantines
Gold Seal ) For those that don't know, it's a scotch whiskey. Thinking i was going to have some fun with this. I yelled over to them that i just found a gold coin in their yard. I walked over and dropped it in his hand. At which point they both started laughing. But a little too hard and a little too long, which struck me as a bit odd because i didn't think it would be that good of a joke.
Turned out that they had buried it weeks earlier, right after i had asked permission.
Yokes on me. HH
