that's really cool. I saw one posted on a forum once that had an 1890 seated dime stuck in it

Yes I found it at DIV. I was primarily hunting with my MXT When I came upon a trashy house site. Since the truck was nearby I decided to get my Etrac out and look for silver amongst all of the iron. It did not disappoint. I count this as two silvers and will keep it as is. I only wish it was Civil War period. That would've been icing on the cake.

Very cool! I'd leave 'em in the knife as well. Merc dimes come along frequently. A find like that does not. VERY cool display piece!

Nice find!!!! I found an old pocketknife about 15 years ago at an old school yard...It had a wheat penny in it..........
