Antler Drifts, Flakers, and Deer Antler Points

I did a little trading today and picked up a nice group of Flaking Tools from one of our local Ft Ancient sites, the Hardin Village Site in Greenup County Kentucky. There are 38 Antler Drifts of various sizes, 5 really nice larger Antler Flakers and 2 of those are drilled on one end where something was most likely socketed in there, and 2 nice Antler Arrowpoints. He also threw in 2 damaged Axes and a couple of polished Amonites from Morocco.

Everything in this tray except for the Cobbs top center and the nice Scraper at the bottom center. All Flea Market finds from the last few years. We both went away happy I believe.

There are indeed a couple of very nice points in there. The Jacks Reef/Intrusive mound points are dandies. If he collected those he probably walked away as happy as you did. A trade were both people are happy is a good thing.

Thanks everyone. I got all of my Antler Drifts out tonight ( well except 2 I forgot) and took some pictures. Counting the 2 I missed I believe I now have 85 of these.

The first picture is all of them. The second is from the Goldcamp Site. The third is from the Fuert Site. And the last is from the Hardin Village site and so are the ones in the tray.
