Re: Nana's 2007 T'net Hunt Adventures!
We sure missed ya Mel, but you were in our hearts.

Missed Gypsy too and hope everyone is doing OK.
I'm telling you guys, if you ever get the chance to attend one of these hunts, you'll leave with wonderful memories that'll last a life time. Just as expected, I had a blast.
Burdie..I don't know where to start. What wonderful hosts you and your family were. Everything was just perfect. I couldn't have had a better time. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this event for us. AND thanks for the tour of your lovely town. Charlie and I had such a great time! So happy I was fortunate enough to attend.
I have so much to tell and so little time to tell it!
Let's start with the first set of pics from Friday's fun filled day!
The town of course was celebrating and had everything all fixed up 1890's style. Cowboys, cows, cowgirls, cows, saloon girls, cows, singers and players and cows....you get the picture here.
Well..WSDaddy had planned for months on how he was going to come to this town and go back home with a garter. It didn't take him long to swing into action. While waiting in line to go into the saloon he already had all the ladies in red swooning all over him. He's one silver tongued devil!

Got into the building and sat down at the table. He motioned to one of the gals there to come over and he began his spill. Ten seconds top. That's all it took. Next thing we know she's done gave him some sugar and pulled a chair up and off that garter went!

You all saw the pictures. Absolutely shameless, I tell ya!

Never blinked an eye!
Thank you for the candy and the wine, WSDaddy!

After all the festivities on main street, we headed down to the fair building to meet with all the CTH hunters for dinner and chat. Was really a pleasure to meet all the new folks this year and great to see all my friends from last years hunt. All those displays were awesome too! I hope BB and ME will put their display on You Tube for all to see!

After hours, some of our rowdy gang got a little rowdy, but Snoopy handled that situation pretty well I hear.
After a couple of hours of sleep, we all met at the hunt site. What a great place! And the owners of the property were very friendy! I thank them for having us! Everyone quickly scurried off to see what they could find. The temps were perfect and it was an overcast morning. I found my first ever Chinese coin! Don't have a clue what it says, but Eric's gonna take care of that as soon as I can get a pic up of it. (Sorry, the camera's in the car and I'll get that pic up as soon as possible.)

Speaking of in the car...Judie...I swapped rooms and got yours tonight..internet didn't work in mine. There were some pretty amazing finds coming out of that field!

Everyone swears they are going to post them, and I am looking forward to those pics! I'll tell you this much..TC is ONE HAPPY CAMPER and so is Greg!

After several hours of hunting, the sun came out, the temps ran up and the sweat began. :P I ended the day with a great horse shoe AND bullets and the Chinese coin.

Back to the fair building for dinner and prizes! Thanks to ME and BB for the MO tax token and Stoney for the OK tax token!

I'll add them to my collection!! Thanks to Ros for the GREAT candy! Been looking forward to that for months and the glasses and the nose flute! It was great as usual! A pleasure to meet your friend Vickie too!

OH..and Charlie ended up with the back patch, and he says, "Thank ya!"

Lots of prizes were given out and I and my A$$ ended up with a new pinpointer, headphones, subscription to treasure mags, walking stick, Chisholm Trail book signed by the author, and thanks to ME for my new bandana and eye patch and thanks to Greg for the BBQ sauce and Stretch for the old Listerine bottle too! Thanks to Mrs. Rob for the lip balm and Mrs. Timberwolf for the beautiful necklace! OH....thanks for lunch today, ME! You shouldn't have! I have so much more to say and a bunch more to thank for making this a great trip, but it's getting late and after this weekend, God knows I need my beauty sleep,WSDaddy!

OH...thanks Burdie for the trip to the casino too! Won $20!
Here's a few more pics from this weekend. I'm not sure when I'm going home....I just may swing by PA and pay Lisa and Jeff of PA a visit!
Take care all! Had a great time and look forward to next year's hunt! Thanks again Burdie!
