ok so I'm going to split up the bundle into smaller bundles as follows:

1000 magazines collection 1.80 each plus shipping plus, for the extra cost of shipping i will include the two totes of duplicates notice they not cataloged, there is no count, there may or may not be more than one of any particular issue. Condition, they are in excellent to poor shape. that's $1800 for the lot shipping.

all the books except for the colonial history of NY books:
that's over 200 books including the Thomas P. Terry books and Kenworthy books they whole lot 2200 plus the shipping. will include any duplicates that i have except the duplicate Terry and Kenworthy books. i will send media mail as that's the cheapest route.

i have duplicates of 1 set of the Terry treasure atlas and 4 of the Kenworthy books i will sell separate, that is, not included in this bundle unless you make me an offer
Thomas P. Terry treasure atlas 1-10
Kenworthy's
Death Traps to treasure
unfound treasures of Mexico
Tresure signs symbols shadow and sun signs
Spanish monuments &trail markers to treasure in the United States. sell all 14 books 1200 shipped

Make an offer on the domain name TheTreaseureHunter.com

the treasure hunting files, maps and archeology books I still have to sort through so watch this space when i get around to that. I'm thinking of splitting it up into a NY State bundle but there is so much stuff. i have to cull out the Canadian gold mining stuff from the files and it's going to take time

I have yet to catalogue the binder full of Treasure hunter Confidential newsletters that will be sold with some other prospecting newsletters

or you can make an offer on everything but I'm less negotiable with the added books this stuff doesn't cost me anything to keep

any of this can be picked up near Raleigh, NC will drive up to 2 hours from Ralegh to deliver in person to you or someone you arrange to pick up on your behalf. I'm copy and pasting the original post :
i have over 1000 magazines and over 200 books for sale, in one lot this also includes the research files from the long closed, Legendary Jerrys Treasure Den in Syracuse NY I'm not willing to split this up this is one money see the list, this lot handwritten notes, letters from people trying to locate treasure, Beers style map xerox copy's on large paper for many NY state county's a binder full of the Treasure Hunters Confidential. odd ball xerox out of print books. map overlays maps with notes most of this stuff is for New York State as that's where I am originally from. there are official mining report books from the Yukon and parts of Canada, official giant Yukon placer maps and more this lot also will include the domain name "TheTreasureHunter.com" which I own we will figure out how to push that to your preferred web host.

shipping is pricey a full price offer, or near full price will include shipping, which i estimate to be about 10000 dollars or more also willing to trade full or partial for gold, silver platinum bullion, slabbed and graded coins, scrap jewelry coin collections with appraisals. not interested in your crusty dug finds or equipment you won't' find a collection like this anywhere on this planet. i am asking $8000 or best offer. you can always pic this lot up in person and if I'm not shipping it, it gets cheaper.

A note on the order of shipping the magazines. They will be shipped in no particular order, none of this will. nor will it ship all at once, my post office won't like that and neither will yours. I tried to keep volumes of the magazines in the same box, then I discovered another stash of magazines, and I was not going to sort through them again. this project has taken me nearly a year to complete in what little free time and desire to sort through this stuff I could muster. You will see some magazines on the list with asterisks, my intention was to point out the out of sequence issues, but I scrapped the idea as this was a slow-moving project and I wanted to just get on with it. The magazine boxes have writing on them and papers inside that is for my accounting only and not necessarily a representation of what’s in the box. It should not be considered accurate. It will be incumbent on the buyer to verify and make an accounting of the inventory. I shall give 30 days from the last shipment to notify me of omissions or mistakes. Bear in mind I’m old and do not see well and have dyslexia and it’s possible that I could have transposed a magazine date such as 1986 vs 1988 . in such a case there is no remedy, no refund you are buying this lot as is. If you find I missed a book or magazine you must notify me within 30 days so I may search for the missing item. If it was accidentally omitted, and I have it I will promptly send it. I have a couple of hundred duplicate magazines and a few duplicate books. I will search to make sure I have it and either I will have it, or I won’t. This is sold “as is” no refunds I have done my best to make an accurate accounting of what I have. You will have to accept any minor errors in accounting. Up to and including missing items. I will do what I can to make it right but, if I said there was a magazine there that I simply do not have, I cannot just go out and find one to replace it with. I don’t think you will find collection like this anywhere else on the planet right now.

The complete research files from the legendary, Jerrys Treasure Den includes all sort of such as potential treasure sites, individual correspondence from people seeking help looking for treasure such as the guy who found an iron door and a bucket of gold coins personal hand written notes and research, official placer maps of the Yukon, a binder of the Treasure Hunter Confidential publications reprint of out of print books , newspaper clippings, odd ball stuff like dealer inquiries for different things he wanted to dabble in lots to unpack in the files much of it is NY state based but not all of it. What you wont find is an “x” marks the spot for a lost treasure. This was research of sites and its old he’s been out of business now for 20 plus years the stuff may have been accurate 30 years ago. I make no guarantee any of those sites are still open for permission, but the research is there to sift through and give you a good start, this is a great pile of info for authors and researchers.

BW,
I'm in my second year of selling off my stamp, coin and stertling silver collections.
I wish you success in a much shorter time.

haha many thanks. good luck with your sales too. people won't appreciate the volume of information here. the research that has already been done. not to mention the insane prices of some of those books for resale.

If sales are slow (and you take itemized deductions on your tax return), you might consider donating your collection to a library at fair market value (not original cost)--and take a tax deduction. The library will give you a receipt for the number of items donated--but will make no representation of value. (Keep a pic of all items donated.)

I collected stamps and coins for over 60 years (or has it been over 70 years??). As for stamps, I appraised them then took a deduction of 40-50% of my appraised value as a deduction--just to show a conservative value and less chance for an audit.

I'm having a living estate sale of all my stuff. I'm selling off most of my stuff and only keeping what i really need to Shepard me through the last stage of my life. (I'm not dying directly just preparing) the proceeds of my stuff go to my kids college/investment funds. which thrift store are you donating your collections to? i might want to shop there lol i contacted several historical societies and they just don't have the room for even my NY state historical books plus they have original copies from 1875 of the history books.

Wangu:

Question. I am looking for a book for several years.
  • Do you happen to know if you have, "My fifty year french treasure hunt" by Henry Gestefield?
  • Do you happen to have Death Traps to Treasure by Charles A. Kenworthy?
  • Do you happen to have Treasure Signs, Symbols, Shadow and Sun Signs by Charles A. Kenworthy?
If so, would it be possible to buy them from you individually without purchasing a large collection? I live overseas. However, my us home base in Las Vegas.

Thanks,
Meg
