AT PRO * NEL SHARPSHOOTER 5.5 X 9.5" COIL REVIEW * 1940'S Tootsietoy Truck
AT PRO * NEL SHARPSHOOTER 5.5 X 9.5" COIL REVIEW * 1940'S Tootsietoy Truck
Ok... I have an Garrett Ace 350 w standard 8.5 x 11" coil, Garrett AT PRO w standard 8.5 x 11" coil, NEL Attack 15" coil and the NEL 5.5 x 9.5" Sharpshooter coil. I have been using the Attack coil most all of the time with great results. I have a small house by me that looks to have been built in the 1940 - 1950's? I have found tons of great stuff in this yard, from wheats, a merc, many toy cars, and many coins. I have went over this yard many, many times with all coils in every direction and keep thinking I cleaned it out? But decided today to try the sharpshooter coil since I have not used it much and have not used it on this yard. This yard is very trashy with old nails, aluminum pieces etc. you name it. So I decided today to try a short 45 min hunt and see if It would separate the good stuff out of this trashy area. The first thing I dug was a 1940's Tootsietoy truck at approx 7.5" that I cut in half with my shovel
not happy. The second target was a copper penny at approx 5". Why did I not find this stuff with all of the other coils? It has to be the target separation with this NEL small coil (unmasking the goods). I ran the AT PRO in pro zero mode with full sensitivity and the iron disc at 40. I really like this coil! Now I have to do this complete yard again..
