Dad & I spent another 5.5 hours gridding in the sunny weather. As we gridded off the high ground the finds started to drop off, so if nothing much happens next time then were done until the good areas ploughed.:sadsmiley:
We now name this field 'Buckle Field' not because of masses of buckles but a good number that are different & complete.:icon_thumright:

1 Roman Sestertius with a hole. Very unusual for the Saxons to use such a massive coin!

That pinhead is big! As far as i understand tweezers come mostly off grave sites. Good find! More to come for sure!
 
Anything Saxon is very cool in my books, congrats on the pinhead and the other finds.
